RSVP for Dax’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor

We originally had an RSVP form here on the site, but for some reason it isn’t working. My apologies for the confusion.

If you are planning on attending Dax’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony, you can RSVP by calling 719.268.9590.

Dax’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor Coming Soon

It was a long summer of bike rides and care bags, but Dax accomplished his goal – earning his Eagle Badge before the end of the summer.

We are now in the midst of planning Dax’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony. It will be held at 7:00 on November 17 at First United Methodist Church.

For those out of town and not able to make it, I’m planning to stream it live over the internet, so stay tuned for more on that.

Quick Update on Maggie

It has been over a month since I’ve posted an update on Maggie, so that ought to say a little bit about how things are going.

For the most part, things have remained pretty rock-solid, with steady improvements. The new medicine Maggie is taking is doing a heck of a job, helping her work through anxiety so it doesn’t lead to seizure activity. Maggie is having occasional blips that’ll send her for a loop, but she’s working through them. The biggest struggles come when Maggie doesn’t get rest or gets over-excited / anxious about something.

Things are going so well that Maggie’s OT is going to recommend discharging her. She’ll still have speech and PT, though.

We’ve gotten several more doctors on Maggie’s side to keep her on this med for the foreseeable future.
