Because Maggie’s severe rash and breathing problems due to Felbamate, Maggie’s doctors took her off the drug last night. We’ll be introducing a new drug from Canada early next week. Until then, we’ve ramped her up to a much larger dose of her secondary seizure drug.
I’m so sorry too hear that Maggie is continuing to struggle. I can only imagine how difficult it is for you and Kathi, Dax and the girls to see her suffering. Know that we continue to lift you all up in prayer. Love, Bill and Daphne
I’ve been praying to dear Jesus, for oh so many things…openness to the Lord’s strength for you and Kathi, Maggie, Dax, Anna Kathryn, little Zofran. It never makes sense looking back over the calendar, how in the world you’ve done all that you have. That’s just it…it’s not "in the world," it’s in Him alone. Just evidence of how He carries us through each day, each moment, lets us walk on the wings of angels. His grace and mercy are sufficient for today, and I know He’ll carry you over this hurdle, and the next… I pray that the secondary seizure med kicks in enough to carry Maggie through til the new drug arrives, that the new one works, and that she can tolerate it well.
Love, Sarah Leverett
