2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
I appreciate that. This is the essence of the Christian life, to be dependent upon Him who supplies. It is the means of salvation, and the means of sustainment.
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you."
1 Peter 5:6-7 (NASB77)
And often hard to do…
Nothing speaks better, more completely, or more powerfully to everything without exception than the Word… Period.
